Hello,

I have a new dell laptop that activates fans for small jobs (1 Word doc and chrome browser) when plugged in. It really bugs me because when unplugged and doing way more its silent. I have read something about the laptop increasing performance when plugged in, but I couldn’t figure out what to do.

If anyone is wondering its a dell ispiron 13 7380

bios active and passive cooling solutions when plugged or on battery, take a look at that, i believe it is under power options and also could be under bios, but since its dell id go over power options first, as in power options-> advanced settings-> cooling state(etc.... named sth like that)

Some EU input to Canadian IT :D
