Hello guys, Im new to this forum but i have a big problem. I'm playing on wi-fi downstairs where my laptop is, but i want to put a rig upstairs in my room. But i can't bring a cable from downstairs to upstairs (just not possible). I really wanne play with cable in to the internet (direct connection) so i dont need to buy a wi-fi network card... Is there anyway you guys have advice for this? Oh and btw when a tablet connects to my internet my ping goes crazy but when multiple computers connect to it there is no problem like that any tips how i can solve that?

But i want to have a directly connection with my router? and that powerline is only for a spot that has low wi fi connection?

Buy a cable long enough to reach upstairs.

That is the problem that can't happen.... 

You've just gotta deal with it. I had the same problem as you but in the end I just moved it to the living room. By a good wifi adapter or move. Its the only two options.

I can't have a rig downstairs :/ i'll just have to buy a wi-fi network card i guess cuz the connection is no problem i just wanted a stable one.... But do you have any tips on that TABLET ISSUE ? Its bugging me badly that it messes my ping up :S

The tablet's probably got some bugged up adapter or something. I don't know.

Find a way to wire it through the floor. Drill a hole in a corner if you have to. In my house the router is in the family room and my room is also on the first floor so my ethernet cable goes from the router, into the basement, across the basement ceiling, up the side of the stairs, and into my room. (About 2 feet away from basement door.) I was going to drill a hole but my dad didn't think it would be worth it.

Yes i know about that too.... but i dont have a basement, and we can't drill a hole through the ceiling :/ i guess i'll have to buy a wi-fi network card :/ because i have enough connection on the wi fi there i just wanted a stable connection :/

Well, you should get the powerline thing that people were talking about above.
