Cpu overheat - d.o.c.p. Consequence?

GSe

Hi, Im running an asus x370-a with vengeance lpx 3000mhz 16gb ram and 3700x ryzen 7. Gpu rtx 2060.

I have this pc for less than three weeks. Pubg has been running without lags till yesterday night. Yesterday morning I went in BIOS and turned DOCP on to 3000mhz as I think that RAM has not really been running at 3000mhz.
Because in BIOS in ez mode said 2133mhz and on the second tab(advanced) said 3000mhz. Was not sure, is it "lying"? then I turned on DOCP in the Ez mode to be really sure about it, but then when playing the game my Pc got really hot, to 75°C. Did the DOCP did that?

thanks

75c is fine for both CPU and GPU. Usually stuff like this in an air cooling environment is indicative of poor air flow. But realistically, 75c is perfectly fine. My 3700x at times in say BF5 will get up into the 70s under full custom liquid cooling.

Aha okay thanks. Have you experienced any random 0.5-1.5 sec lags (mouse starts repsonding poorly and almost no control over what is happening in game in those times). I saw its about ssd. I wouldnt want to be overriding my hardware going into performance mode if its not necessary (it also doenst fix it tho). It lags and then goes like you would fast forward those 2secs. Happens every two minutes or so.
