G'day

i am trying to plan a budget gaming PC build. I have a budget of $1,000 to $1,300 AUS. I have a monitor running at 60hz 25" using HDMI. as well as a keyboard and mouse. The pc will be used for video watching, steaming, light work and excel projects plus some AAA game titles. i am happy to use a stock cooler. do not want water cooled. what would be a good setup?

G'day

Should go for a used RX 480/580 8GB if possible over a new card, should be a good deal cheaper. Those are fine for 1080p 60hz gaming.

Can just buy the CPU cooler at a later date.

Next major step up aside from waiting for the RX 5500/5600 would be the RX 5700  which is like 70-80% faster than the 580 or something

Could also maybe look for a used GTX 980ti 1070/ti not sure on it's pricing.

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
