Hi Everyone

 

I ordered a PCI 16x to 16x extender but they send a 1x to 16x is it possible to use a gtx 650 with this card on a resolution of 1024 x 1028 (or something like that)

It is possible but you will get a slight performance hit due to the reduced bandwidth. You also will be unable to sli. Here is a comparison of PCIe bandwidth. http://www.anandtech.com/show/5458/the-radeon-hd-7970-reprise-pcie-bandwidth-overclocking-and-msaa

If they sent a wrong product I would ask for what was advertised or a refund. If they won't, threaten legal action.
