corsair 900D and the 750D the 750D isn't in the price range but it's a really good case and the 900D should be worth its money because i'm going to get it for my computer that i'm going to build

Those cases are only worth it if you plan doing a custom loop which will cost you $1000 or more.

It depends on what you're putting in it. If you want to make a watercooled rig with four GPUs and 6 Hard Drives, then you'll definitely need to invest more money to get the high-end Full Tower that can support these. However, for the "common user" I would say that a "regular" 100-150$ case is more than enough. (even cheaper than that really)

As long as you can fit all you want, that the airflow is good and that you like the asthetics, it'll do the job just fine. It's an enclosure, it's not going to affect performance or things like that. Then, there are special features like silence and fan controls and whatnot that some cases include, that can be a factor.

The R4 and the 540 aren't anywhere as well built as the premium cases you find from Lian-Li, Silverstone, etc. However, both of them have arguably better airflow and layouts (more practical and flexible) than just about anything from Lian-Li and Silverstone for any price. People who look into premium cases aren't satisifed with just the basics. Design, build quality, and how the case makes them feel are just as important. Not everyone needs the amount of airflow that the 540 offers.
