Hello everybody,

I’m building a new gaming pc and I’m trying to find the right PSU. I’ve seen many guides and forums but when I look at the reviews of any PSU there’s always people talking about them failing.
I just want to know which 650 Watt reliable PSUs are there on the market that are under 100$. Which ones should I trust?
I’ve also looked at the tier list posted on this forum. And I wanted to know if the B tier (Budget) PSUs can be trusted.

My parts are:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 26000

Motherboard: Gigabyte B-450 AORUS ELITE

RAM: G.Skill RipJaws 5 Series (2x4GB) 3200mhz

GPU: Sapphire NITRO+ RX 590

Thank you very much for your help and comments.

Mauricio.

Why 650? Is noise an important factor?

definitely.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

a 550 watt PSU can power any high end system out there, you can save a little money with something like that
