Dead GPU, Now What?

Hi Guys and Girls,

Just had my ol faithful gtx 960 die on me and now i need some help with choosing a new one.

heavy youtube user at max settings,

moderate gamer (fortnite, world of warships,WOW, borderlands 3 ect)

 

i need someones input and experience, im good with shoving hardware together, not so good at picking the parts. i also need one that not gunna break the bank as i have a rather tight budget

The RX 470 or 570 are approximately GTX 970 levels of performance (and 1060 3GB) so one of those off eBay or even new is a good value. There's also the R9 380 or 290 around that performance level, but those consume more power due to their age, in case you mind that.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
