Looking for Video-Editing Laptop & Software

The company I work for has a drone section where we capture high definition footage of our operations and it's my task to compile the footage into a digestible format to be used for training. My boss told me to "dream big" but didnt give direction on a budget. So I'm wondering what workstation laptops you would all recommend? Also, I'm looking for a video editing software which doesnt save anything to the cloud; its important that the footage we gather only be stored in two places: the camera it was captured on and the laptop that we will be using to edit the footage.

TL;DR

Need a workstation laptop and a video editing software that wont save to the cloud

"Dream Big" I think of the MSI WS65 with an i9-9850HK and an RTX 5000.

More practical would be maybe a Dell XPS 15 or a 15in MacBook Pro.

Editing software wise probably Premiere Pro or Final Cut if you prefer.

We use Adobe Premier to make our product videos, and it is a well designed and powerful program.

At home, I use VideoPad Home Edition, which is similar to Premier but a lot cheaper.  It's also kind of slow processing 4K video, but it gets the job done.

For the most basic of basic editing (quickly splicing some HD video and slideshows together), it's still possible to download Windows Movie Maker.  It's a fairly weak program, but it usually works.

I suggest you one of these MSI Workstations:

Custom Built MSI WE73 8SK-486 17.3" UHD 120Hz w/ NVIDIA Quadro® P3200

Custom Built MSI WE75 9TK-654 17.3" FHD - i7-9750H - Quadro® RTX 3000

Custom Built MSI WS75 9TL-497 - 17.3" FHD - i7-9750H - Quadro® RTX 4000

Custom Built MSI WS65 9TL-685 - 15.6" FHD - i9-9880H - Quadro® RTX 4000

Custom Built MSI WS65 9TM-1079- 15.6" UHD - i9-9880H - Quadro® RTX 5000

As for the video editing software, you can go for Adobe Premiere Pro or if you don't want a subscription based product and only a one time payment but a bit limited, then Adobe Premiere Elements 2020

HIDevolution has superb build and quality control, in addition, when customizing the laptop, choose "Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut + Fujipoly Extreme Thermal Pads", that reduces temps by 15C to ensure your laptop doesn't overheat or thermal throttle.

Alienware m16 R1 | AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX | SK Hynix 64 GB 5200 MHz DDR5 RAM | GeForce RTX 4090 16 GB GDDR6 | 16" QHD+ (2560 x 1600) 240Hz, 3ms 300-nits Screen | 2x Samsung 990 PRO 4TB SSDs + WD_BLACK SN770M 2TB SSD | Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 | Windows 11 Pro
