If you don't reset CMOS when removing or replacing a part on the motherboard it won't work, just saying because some people don't reset CMOS when testing their RAM sticks and it wont post

Second System: Ryzen 2400G, Gigabyte B450 DS3H, RX 580 Nitro+, Kingston A400 SSD, Team T-Force 3200mhz CL15

Sooo. 3700x boots with other mobo.

2600x boots with 1st mobo. Im confused. Clearing cmos in a minute.

You have to clear CMOS BEFORE booting the system everytime you change hardware on the board, if you used to have the 2600x on the board and replaced to the 3700X without clearing CMOS it mostly won't work exept if you motherboard can detect hardware change, and if it does it will probably will throw a F1 POST.

Main System: Ryzen 2700, Asus Crosshair VII Hero, EVGA GTX 1080ti SC, 970 EVO Plus NVMe, Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz CL14, CM H500, CM ML240L cpu cooler.

No i dlnt have to clear it. When i boot with different hardware it gives a message saying cmos cleared which i just realized after swappin out components. Now cmos is cleared after swapping 3700x back in. Il try it out. And even update bios to the newer version

Now im trying to update it. But tge system does not recognize the bios file on my usb. It says :bios file does not exist

Latest BIOS update is 7B87V19, unzip on freshly formated to FAT32 thumbdrive, rename file to MSI.ROM

Edit: you can use Flashbios button to update the board without having to fire the system

Did all that but never heared the renaming to msi.rom

Could u explain why, whilst il try it

If you want to update it using the flashbios button you will have to rename it to MSI.ROM, the board will look for that file name.

There is no reason you have to rename the file if you do it through the UEFI but we never know, might be the reason it don't work.

Reformat thumbdrive to FAT32 ( one more time...), then unzip BIOS file, only copy the .1C0 file to the thumbdrive.

Laster BIOS is 7B86v1C  not 7b86V19, i was wrong.

latest bios is 7B87v1A, but usually the bios name goes v17 v18 v19, but its now v1A, maybe im not supposed to install that one but rather the v19?

Check for latest release date, not update name or number. If you don't unzip the file it will never work, BIOS can't uncompress files. You have to open the ZIP file and drag the BIOS file out of it, and on the thumbdrive.

You can have anything installed on your board, it bypass everything on it. If you use the flashback button you have to rename the file to MSI.ROM

Alright. I booted with the 3700x on previous bios version. Started with cpu led. So i gave up on life. Laid back on my bed. Monitor turned on. I shot myself out of bed. No cpu led lighting up. I guess the redditposr was right. Thanks to everyone that tried to help me. Much appreciated. ❤️
