Hi all,

About two years ago I moved my data over to my nas and freed up enough space to replace my remaining 1tb harddrive for an 240GB m.2 ssd. Right now I have two Kingston Hyperx Predator 240GB AHCI drives (the better-than-sata-but-not-nvme kind of m.2). 480GB was enough at that time since m.2 was still really expensive but now its just not enough anymore. My motherboard has only one m.2 slot so i got the second ssd with an hhhl pcie adapter.

So basically I need more m.2 storage.

A total of 1TB storage would be more than enough for now but I'm not sure which of the following options would be most suitable for me:

- Swap D Drive (only steam games) with the cheapest 1TB m.2 available : a 660p (cost: €110 minus secondhand resell value of m.2 240GB)

- Replace both drives with something a bit bitter than QLC: a kingston A2000 1TB (cost: €130 minus 2x secondhand resell value of m.2 240GB)

Ideally I would choose the second option (most likely cheaper and better performance since A2000 > 660p > hyperx predator, would also free up my x4 slot) but would windows license be an issue when cloning the C partition?

I have ordered a really cheap m.2 to x1 pcie adapter to temporary accommodate a third m.2 device so I got that problem solved already.
