Upgrade choice

after months of saving i was finally able to have a decent upgrade to my pc, but i had a hard time making a choice between what i have to upgrade

my choice is between upgrading my 1060 6gb to a rtx 2080 super, or upgradding my old i7 3770 plus it's mobo and ram to a newer one

or maybe should i upgrade into other things? because my monitor is still 1080p only anyway

recommendation would be much appreciated

without knowing every PC part you have it's hard to say

 

I feel like you should upgrade both GPU and CPU tho

pretty much only the storage drive, case and PSU can stay. 550w PSU should power say, R5 3600 + RTX 2070S for example more than well.

i only got enough budget for one gpu or a set of cpu + motherboard + memory

as you can see my cpu is old enough that the motherboard only support for ddr3 memory, so if i have to upgrade my cpu that means i have to buy a new motherboard and a new set of memory, my current budget is about 700 more or less

Get 3600 + board + RAM + SSD then? Should be able to get even the SSD given the 2080S' pricing
