This is KVM1, a dedicated build for running Virtual Machines using Kernel Virtual Modules.

Chassis: Fractal Design Core 1100

Power Supply: Corsair TX650M

Mainboard: Gigabyte b450m DS3H

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700

Memory: 2 x 16GB GSkill RipJaws V DDR4-2400 CL16

OS DIsk: AData SX8200 Pro 512GB m.2 NVMe SSD

Storage: 2 x Samsung EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD (removed for now)

Front Intake Fan: Noctua NF-A12iPPC2000 PWM

Side Exhaust Fan: Rosewill 15x120mm PWM

Rear Exhaust Fan: 92mm SuperMicro 3200 PWM

Fan Control: Noctua NA-FC1

GPU: EVGA RTX 2070 XC Gaming

OS: Ubuntu 18.0.4.3 LTS Server

 

This rig has been added to the pool of folding machines during the LTT Folding month event and has had a RTX 2070 installed which is producing 1.34MPPD and the CPU around 85 -100kPPD.

 

The system draws 300W at the UPS so with the GPU drawing 195W the CPU, System Overhead and Power Supply inefficiency add up to 105W.
