Start this off by saying I just built a new PC. 9900k couple 1tb Samsung m.2 drives etc. trying to install some games and the steam download is only going at 2MB per sec. I pay for gigabit via AT&T and this machine speed tests from multiple sources at 900-1000 Megabit up and down. When using the wired connection the downloads from steam cap at 2 Megabytes per sec. connecting with wireless speeds it up to 40-60MB but I cant get steam to download any faster than 2MB on the wired connection. I checked my network adapter settings and it is full duplex. I plugged it in to the Ethernet cable my main rig is using and it still has this issue. I cleared the steam download cache. I changed the region server that I am downloading from several times.  I have also used the asus tool to update my Motherboard Ethernet drivers. Any idea what the heck is going on? my other rig still downloads from steam at full speed. usually around 80MB where steam caps itself.
