AM4 / Windows 10 Install USB Issues
9 minutes ago, Ozicks said:I'm installing Windows 10 on my fiance's computer. However, once the installer gets to the first step after booting to the USB installer, all of the USB devices do not work (Keyboard/Mouse/etc.) I'm not sure if there is a BIOS setting that I don't recognize or if it has to do with the specific hardware of the computer. This is the first time I've setup Windows on an AM4 Platform. I'm familiar with AM3+ and older AMD hardware along with how Windows 7 installs but I'm new to AM4 and Windows 10 and I'm not sure if it works differently or if I'm just simply overlooking something.
Here are the hardware specs of the computer:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 1600X
- RAM: GSkill 16GB DDR4
- Motherboard: ASRock B450M Pro4
- Video Card: Gigabyte GEFORCE GTX 1050Ti
- PSU: Corsair CX650
Thanks in advance for the help

Apparently there are (2) USB 2.0 slots at the top of the motherboard that I had the keyboard and mouse connected to. I read that Windows 10 doesn't support USB 2.0 while installing? Wierd. Anyways, I'm pretty sure I figured it out. I'll keep this posted on what I find out.
