Yeah but that's not an opinion, that's just wrong. An overclocked i7 and a Radeon VII would draw around 450 watts sustained, at absolute max.

The PRO's aren't the ones who do that. This board has a corps of wannabe PSU experts who are very vocal, but not particularly skilled.  They are the usual suspects.  

It’s got little to do with skill and more to do with extensive research and fact checking. Knowing the right people also helps as well.

Personally if I'm building a PC at that price point, I would spend the extra $10-30 for a 650W just to be safe and have some room for upgrades.
