Bios update?
Go to solution
Solved by Dujith,
It will require at least 4.10 (which is one of the latest versions). Now many sellers do not update the BIOS so it might still be on 1.10-1.30
Donwload the file to an USB stick (fat32) and use the bios flash utility of the motherboard itself.
In my experience the newer CPU will boot into the BIOS and will only start to crash/act werid if you go into windows or when installing it.
Did this on a few Asrock MB's with a new i7 9700 (after windows setup kept crashing)
All of them worked fine after i did the BIOS update.
