Okay so I play this game called rust and the game is poorly optimized so I looked online and found a forum that said to increase the gpu load you could try and update your bios. My pc is really new I've only had it for 4 months. My mobo is a asrock b450m pro4. After updating it to version 3.30 everything seemed to be working alright even ultra fast boost was now working correctly the only problem is that when I did a pc test on userbenchmark my ram was no longer showing its clock speed and it's supposed to be 3000mhz checked cpuz and it said my ddr is 1496.4mhz is that okay? Other then that everything seemed the same I did some digging online and found out that updating the bios is not recommned because of various issues with ram stability and such. Also last question if anyone gets this far on asrock is website they asked me to download amd all in 1 VGA driver but I have a rtx card so I didn't get it is that okay ?

Ignore userbenchmark. 3000 is the effective speed of DDR (double data rate) 1500. It goes both ways

However like I said userbenchmark was showing it before the update it said it was clocked at 3000mhz now it's just blank. Also I re enabled my xmp ofc.

Userbenchmark is not reliable. They've openly attacked tech media and users. Ignore that site. It's basically fake news, for lack of a better term. Your BIOS and Ryzen Master are the most accurate sources

Download CPU-Z, and check how the CPU clockspeed and Memory clockspeed are set to. You can now send Userbenchmark to trash.... After Userbenchmakr and Intel controversy, not much people use this benchmark tool anymore since it favor Intel.

https://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/cpu-z_1.90-en.zip

Main System: Ryzen 2700, Asus Crosshair VII Hero, EVGA GTX 1080ti SC, 970 EVO Plus NVMe, Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz CL14, CM H500, CM ML240L cpu cooler.

Second System: Ryzen 2400G, Gigabyte B450 DS3H, RX 580 Nitro+, Kingston A400 SSD, Team T-Force 3200mhz CL15

If it ain't overclocked it ain't good...

CPU-Z will likely show 1500 since that's how RAM works. 1500 is the DRAM speed which gets doubled to 3000 via DDR technology. Most people just market the effective speed (3000) since higher number = better

Yeah i know, 3000mhz will show as 1500mhz in any software.

That's normal, like I said. 1500 is the true DRAM speed. 3000 is the DDR speed which is the doubled DRAM speed.

APU is the Ryzen CPUs that include Vega graphics and are known as the G series

Accelerated Processor Unit, It's the Ryzen 2400G\2200G and 3200\3400G processors with integrated graphics

Okay I have a rtx 2060 and ryzen 7 2700x so I should be alright I think. Lastly if you see this on asrocks website they said to update to at least 2.0 first before updating fo later versions i forgot to check my version before updating and sont k ow if it was 2.0 or higher think that's alright ? I also did a cinevench v15 check 5 times for stability and it passed all 5 times with around 1750-1850 not over clocked which is suprising good

You're okay. No need to worry. If it works, be happy and enjoy it :)
