Hi,

My brother is getting £300 for his christmas gift and I am starting to buy stuff on his behalf so his current build is this

Gtx 660

i5-3570k

16GB DDR3

Random mobo compatible with ddr3

1TB HDD

My goal is to keep the 16gb and to get him a new processor/gpu/motherboard. I may be able to get a second hand 1060 but I'm unsure due to him having a 6 pin connector.

(Were in the UK so amazon uk is the best option for us)

PC SPECS

Corsair H100x AIO

Gamemax Falcon (White)

----------------------------------------------------------

you could pick up a 980ti and i7 3770 on CEX, if the PSU isn't good enough then use the remaining money for a new PSU.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

either 6+8-pin or dual 8-pin. there'll be just enough money left to get a new PSU after getting the parts i mentioned.

@Herman Mcpootis I found this seem decent https://www.amazon.co.uk/Palit-GeForce-StormX-Boost-Graphics/dp/B07PNK24GX/ref=sr_1_67?keywords=GTX+1060&qid=1569858869&s=gateway&sr=8-67

I need a power supply for like 50-60 pounds can you find one with the right connectors or is it too expensive?
