I think the google drive is mounted as a user, so when you run it as admin, another user, that mount point won't exist. Either mount the gdfs as a admin or copy the file to another location then run it as admin

That really isn't what it's designed for, and most programs are not programmed to know to wait for necessary components to load in. There isn't a space savings; the file has to be downloaded onto the local drive to be used, so why not keep it there?
