Issues with ssd

So i built a pc about an year ago, worked fine since, but now m experiencing some issues with my ssd. The boot times are through the roof (5-10 mins), given the rest of my build, it shouldnt be the case.

I have changed the sata cable, plugged it in a different port on the motherboard, tried a different power cable

Even used the Kingston SSD manager to check the drive's health and it looks fine. 

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Check with crystal disk if there are any errors.

 

userbenchmark is garbage; don’t pay too much attention to the results on there.

Have you tried copying a large (Over 20G) file to and from the drive in order to check the speed? You can try to copy a file to and from RAM so that you get max transfer speed you can also create a dummy file with only 0 and 1 to check the speed. Or crystal disk like stormseeker9 says.

Thsi drive is quite cheap.

 

There a multiple factors that a re slowing down your SSD:

• The least storage a SSD has the slower it will run.
• Drive's specs don't really specifiy greatly what kind of NAND flash its using (only 3D), which could result in it being QLC which is known to be the worst kind of NAND flash. This NAND slows down after lots of data transfer. Linus' video:

Not really for thsi drive but it uses the same NAND.

Its hovering in 50s shooting up to the 130s then going back down (MB/s)

Ran crystal disk, those look kinda decent

Boot issues like that are usually caused by external devices hanging the boot process. 

 

Also, based on those CDM numbers your SSD isn’t plugged into a native SATA port, instead a third party one. Double check to make sure it’s plugged into the native intel or AMD port per your respective system.
