So I am finally building a pc.  I have I am looking to build but I am looking for tips to improve my build. I have never built a PC before but I think I built a pretty good pc.

Currently I play competitive games like Overwatch,Destiny 2, Halo 5 and Apexlegend. I also play other games like Monster hunter world, Battlefield and Red dead redemption 2. And I am looking 2 make a switch to pc.

My goal is to have a pc that runs games at 240 or close to 240 frames on games for as cheap as possible without losing value or performance for the price. I also want to be able to practice video editing and photo shop skill on the same pc.

I am going to list all the parts I think is good for what I want. I will also give a brief description on why I choose each and every part.

CPU AMD Ryzen 7 3700x processor.

I chose the AMD Ryzen 7 3700x processor because it has 8 cores and it runs close to the performance of a Intel i9 9990k while being much cheaper.

GPU MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Ventus 8GB

I was gonna buy sapphire 5700 xt pulse but I saw the MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Ventus for cheaper so I think I will buy that and seems to run OW and Destiny 2 a little better.

Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE

It seems to a good motherboard. It's also on the Best motherboard list here.

SSD: Intel 660p 1TB M.2

RAM : G.Skill DDR4 Ripjaws-V 2x8GB 3600MHz

It is in discount and Ryzen chips run better on higher Frequency RAM.

Casing : Silverstone RL06

So this was easy cause Game nexus tests PC cases and Rl06 seems to have a very good airflow.

Monitor : Acer XB XF250QA 24.5

So I chose this monitor cause it's cheap ish and its  seems to be good enough. Check this website for details: https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/acer_nitro_xf252q.htm

I will probably buy Acer Nitro XF252Q Xbmiiprzx 24.5.

Power supply: Be quiet! Pure Power 11 600W CM

I put all the parts on pc part picker. It says this system needs 334W. 334x1.5 = 501. I just took 600 w to be safe and it has 80 PLUS Gold Efficiency (tot 92%)  so I can use it 4 a long time.

Mouse : Cooler Master MM710 or Ultra light 2

I used Rocket jump ninja to Gauge a mouse that would work for me.

Keyboard

I will probably chose a Brown or Red switch mechanical keyboard.

So I want is to have a pc that runs games at 240 or close to 240 frames on games for as cheap as possible without losing value or performance for the price. While dabbling into editing. So if any experienced PC building God would like to give tips to improve this build I will happily like to hear them.

MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Ventus 8GB

this won't do 240fps at 1080p (in games mentioned, CSGO maybe), it might handle 720p.

You're asking too much.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

1. Use PCPartPicker! There are versions for many countries, including the UK.

2. If you want to practice video editing, Photoshop, etc., then I'd recommend switching the 3700X out for a 3900 (which will be released in some time idk).

Also for the love of god switch that 660p out for a better NVMe such as a Sabrent Rocket, Samsung 960/970 series, HP EX series or Optane 900/905P series.

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux

I don't think i am asking too much. I have checked mutiple bench marks including gpucheck.com and most games run close to 200 fps with the 3700x and 2070 ventus.
