help Cheap laptops for animation/creativity

I have a friend who is looking for an affordable laptop for blender and source filmmaker on a budget if anyone has any suggestions pls leave a comment.

What would his budget be, approximately ?

 

The tough part about his needs is that both 3D and serious filmmaking require a lot of power. Worse even, nowadays 3D relies more and more on the GPU (live rendering, most modern renderers like Octane, Redshift, Cycles...) whereas video editing focuses more on the CPU. So you'd need decent pieces for both of these, with enough ram to keep everything up.

 

Let us know more about the budget and details about his needs (does he edit 4K videos for exemple ?) !

His budget is around $100-$200 and he does not edit in 4k just 720p or 1080p in 30fps
