Epic games won't install

Hi 

 

So I wanted to play the new batman games on Epic Games, but the launcher won't install. I did have it before but deleted it. Now when I try to download it to my system, a pop up shows that I have it open, even when I don't have it anymore. Anyone now what the problem might be?

P.S. when I tried to delete the old files it wouldn't let me

is see this as a positive thing.

 

but try making sure all instances of it on the task manager are gone and try reinstalling it over the original
