I have a problem with my RAM. Normally, it runs at 3200MHz, but sometimes, it runs at 2666MHz. There are no BIOS and hardware changes at all. Anyone facing the same issues?

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 3600

RAM: AData XPG 3200MHz RGB

MoBo: Gigabyte Aorus X570 Pro WiFi

id check to make sure you dont have a dead or dying ram stick.

what config are you running? 1 stick or 2 and what capacity

I have 2 sticks of RAM, each 8GB, and they are identical, bought at the same time.

I also inserted at the slots the motherboard manual recommended, which is A2 and B2 slots.

try the A1 B1 slots. or do you have any other ram there to test?

Hmm, Okay. I don't have any extra RAM to try out. I'll try switching slots.

Anyway, the RAM speed sometimes just go down to 2666MHz even with XMP profile activated. I have to go to BIOS, play with the XMP profile, then restart, and the RAM boost to 3200MHz.
