I currently have a 8700k, 64gb ram, m.2 1TB, and an ASUS Nvidia 1060. I also only use a 1080p 60hz monitor and 4k 60hz monitor. I do a lot of video editing, streaming, and coding.

I'm not sure what to upgrade, I currently get more than 60 frames per game when using 1080p so I'm wondering whats the best cost effective purchase and which one I should do. I attached below the different upgrades I planned to do 9900k vs 3900x vs Nvidia 1080ti vs Nvidia 2080. Both graphics cards are used pricing and CPUs are new pricing. And the selling price is what I got a month ago when looking on eBay.

So I'm wondering out of all 4 options which one would be the best to choose. What should I do right now and while keeping the future in mind.

If you want a new GPU, perhaps look at 1080s, they go for around 300$ on r/hardwareswap, and perform about 2x as good. Is your GPU a strix 1060?

I'd reccommend getting a 1080, instead of a 2080/1080 ti, as they perform ~30-40% better for almost or even more than 2x the price.

Perhaps upgrade a monitor to a 1440p 95/144hz or a 1080p 144hz
