Hello, i'm having trouble with my pc for the last month. First it was 100% disk usage, i tried everything to make it normal again. Nothing. Then i took it to the specialist and he updated or reinstalled windows idk. So the problem was that it can't run anything like steam initializes for 10 minutes then just goes away. Games don't work too. I don't know why but minecraft even with mods runs fine. Computer starts in about 70 seconds. It's high end like: I7 6700K, gtx 1060, 16gb ram and i think something is wrong with software because i checked parts they work fine. Now CCleanear is struggling with simple cleaning like removing txt file from trash. I think windows 10 makes his job here. Thanks for any help :(

Did you try and run a health test on the ssd/hdd?

I would say that something might be wrong with your drives.

I had 2 MacBooks at the office that acted some what like yours, some programs were OK but others not at all.

The entire computer had been very very slow, the laptops were replaced but I got the SSDs and I tried them out in my own laptop - One dead and one working, but some times crashing.

But i cant really tell - If you have a friend with an extra SSD/HDD i suggest that you try those.

you mean chkdsk or what health test?

checking the S.M.A.R.T. status of the drive

https://sourceforge.net/projects/smartmontools/

or

https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/

will be able to give you a readout of what's going on.

Agreed, it sounds like your hard disk is dying. Run Crystal Disk Info and it'll tell you if the disk is healthy or bad.

Fyi if the SMART status is bad then BACK UP EVERYTHING THATS IMPORTANT TO YOU IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!

Once the disk dies it's very difficult (pretty much impossible without paying a specialist) to retrieve data from it.
