My microphone is not reading in Windows for some reason starting tonight. I route all my audio through an Alesis Multimix 8 USB mixer. I know that the microphone is picking up audio because the indicator lights on the mixer light up normally. My microphone on my webcam is also working normally. It is not an issue with the Windows 10 privacy settings. The Windows troubleshooter does not find a solution. I have rebooted, as well as checked default devices and the typical unplugging and replugging. I get normal audio out through the mixer still, it's only the input causing any issues. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Have you tried downloading the drivers for and reinstalling them?

Driver site (look for downloads tab under the product image): https://www.alesis.com/products/view/multimix-8-usb-2.0-fx

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

Interesting, I didn't realize there were drivers as when I went to their website before, it only gave me downloads for quick start guides, not drivers. And it's always worked driverless until now, but I'll give it a try.
