What's your budget/country? That list is like 2 years old.

Also what monitor resolution/refresh rate and what do you need the PC for?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

i mean... oc a 1070 ti and you basically have the level of a 1080 (non-ti)

but are you getting a good deal on them? because they're last gen technically

I'm thinking of buying pre built but if it's cheaper then I could buy all the parts myself and give them to a tech place near me that would be happy with building it for me at a small price which I'm assuming is no more than £200

It's really easy to just do it yourself, pre-builts are generally a bad idea due to a weaker motherboard/PSU and bad cooling in general.

but what's your budget for everything?

My badger is about 1k but I'm saving up for next year, is it worth looking around for it now or is the market always changing? Also my parents wont let me build a pc so that's not an option although I really want to build my own. Thanks

The 1070Ti is gonna be fine with video editing and gaming at 144Hz. It might be a couple years old, but it still holds strong in most cases.

Just in case:

What games are you gonna be playing?

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

the market changes so frequent, I'd just look around a bit, but decide whether the time comes for you to buy. and you can always consider it being built by someone (local shop, retailer or something like that)

Fortnite and Minecraft is easily gonna run at 144 FPS. So no problem there. If you plan on getting into VR later you should be fine as well (but you might have to turn the settings down a little in really demanding titles).

Then you want an R5 2600 + RX 5700, GPU is a bit overkill if you mostly just play esports games.

If you can find a bit more it's probably worth getting the R5 3600 so you don't have to worry about upgrading, just need to flash the bios with a USB stick.

Yes, I would normally turn the excess settings down all the way anyways, thanks!
