Best WiFi extender for my work?

Can someone tell me what the best WiFi extender would be fore the building I work in?

The walls have metal in them and the WiFi we currently have only goes about 15 ft down the hall, it needs to go another 20 feet or so... Any help would be appreciated! :)

I find it is better to stay consistent... what are they using for wifi currently? Eg., The building is using Cisco Aironet for wifi --> use an Aironet AP as a repeater; the building is using Ubiquiti Unifi for wifi --> use an Unifi AP as an extender, etc. (Of course, assuming you have access to the routers/ wlan controllers.) If they are using random consumer grade stuff, I like the TP RE650

A wired AP will obviously be better than a repeater wherever possible.

 

If it's only for one stationary computer, depending on what you are using already, a better wifi card (*cough Alfa) and antenna (directional ftw) is usually cheaper and simpler than a repeater.
