Recommendation for a new monitor

Hey guys, I am going to buy a new monitor but I don't know which one to get. I have some requirements though... 

1. At least 23" to at most 27"

2. Only 1080p or 1200p because I have only a GTX670MX, won't run 1440p

3. Price at most USD$200

4. Reputable brands like Dell or Asus... no korean shit

5. Matte screen only.

6. I'm using HDMI 

7. I don't need sound or usb hub but would be cool to have.

do not get the u2312hm please. i had it and the motion blur is unbearable so unbearable that my horrible ghosting monitor gw 2750 by benq is a much better experience, also u2312hm has pwm + way too high of brightness.

there is a dell monitor that came out after this one that by reviewers complaints  dell made alot of fixes

the models are
p2314h and p2414h
these ones are way better and they come without pwm so that your eyes wouldn't get tired after a few hours.

I've also looked at these monitors, how do these compare to the S2340L? The are a small difference in price for me.

the s2340l is glossy, means you'll see your reflection when you sit in front of it.

but if you're gaming or watching movies in darkness then it's fine.

and it has no pivot and portrait mode. and the other 2 I mentioned had both of those things.

let me give you some very good advice regarding monitors. i've had quite a lot and color accuracy is not that important as motion blur and GHOSTING.

doesn't matter which monitor you'll end-up with, make sure the ghosting is none existent. and then worry about color accuracy.

and ips monitors tend to motion blur, because of the response times.

try to get an LG ips monitor they are 5ms GTG. 

there is a monitor that i can recommend highly to gamers and its cheap ips and a very good one.

ViewSonic VX2370Smh - very nice IPS monitor 4MS gtg response time.

ALWAYS GO FOR IPS but don't go towards quality IPS they are slow.

learn to differentiate between types of IPS. they are a few.

I previously had 3 vg248qe's (the 24 inch 144hz asus model)  and I've sold 2 of them, and bought one pb278q, and kept the other vg248qe.    I'm blown away at the difference in colors, having IPS is much nicer for when I'm in bed and looking at it from odd angles.  I haven't had any issues with it yet, I really enjoy it. 

 

Yes the 144hz is nice and smooth, but the IPS screen more than makes up for the difference in colors+ amazing picture quality.  I feel more "in" my games now, rather than watching and playing.   I haven't gotten to try a IPS 1080p, but I'm very impressed with 1440p IPS.

 

 

I hear great things about the ultra sharp line from dell, but asus has some IPS 1080p for decent prices on newegg.

Get an IPS panel if you want improved colors, to better enjoy the art style of your games

Get a high speed TN panel (120Hz+) if you have the computational power to play your games at 120fps or more, or don't mind playing them at minimum settings. This is great if you are a hardcore FPS player, especially when you see gaming as a competition and not art.

So it depends on your view.

This is pretty much, you can say, low end of IPS. Anything above it, will be better in colors and so on. And I think you'll greatly notice the improvement over any, even a good one, TN panel.
