It would take quite a bit of testing, and it might be out of the scope of the LTT team's abilities, but I think testing a Tesla Model S, then disassembling it to install a custom watercooling loop would be, probably the most enchanting video we'll ever see. Linus said on video he would like to start doing car reviews "in the future" when he was working in his garage at one point, and I think this sort of adventure would be just the ticket for the inaugural video of such a series. You just know this board has custom water cooling written ALL OVER it ?

The Tesla FSD card is packing high levels of computer power.

Godspeed!

Sadly to say while this would be cool AF, in this application I don't think watercooling would provide any benefit. Tesla has already tuned the provided heatsinks to remove enough heat for the chips to work perfectly. Besides, this would be risky as heck since it's such a costly part.

If you're getting this from them watercooling the RED camera, it's only because they said it would (I believe) reduce the transient write time and decrease fan noise. There's a reason why watercooling isn't on every chip out there.

If you think "right to repair" is bad with Apple, try dealing with Tesla, its damn near impossible to get any kind real parts out of them and support is nil, and for that reason alone I would never suggest the guys taking that on, it just screams headache and frustration
