Is this the best? I heard 3600 cl16 is a good 1 : 1. Also 3200mhz cl16 and 3600mhz cl16 / cl18 are all within budget.

Just want to be sure as ik ryzen 3000 series loves high speed and low latency,

Thanks for the help,

Alex

A 3600 CL16 kit is expensive. You are looking at £140+ for one of those. The Crucial Ram I suggested overclocks really well for half the price.

Think it will oc well enough on my board? Also how much of a pain will it be to get 1 : 1.

Last things xD, would it be easier to oc on one of the other kits to get the speeds required?

Thanks,

Lex.

It should overclock fine. The 3000 series seem to be better for that. Any 3000 - 3200 kit should overclock but your mileage may vary. The Crucial Ram seems to do well though in that regard. If you don't like the looks of the Crucial then I would just go with any other 3000 - 3200 CL15/16 that you like.

Samsung B die is usually expensive as well. You can use the link below though.

I was looking through the video you recommended me and a video Linus made about the ram choice for 3000 series. Since it would be quite a heavy overclock is there a chance i may damage my ram / have instability issues ....

Still am on the edge with what ram to buy with so many people suggesting to purchase at least 3200mhz

Only way you could damage the ram is by putting too many volts through it. That ryzen dram tool shows you the voltage parameters to stick to so as long as you follow that you will be fine. The Crucial I suggested should easily overclock to 3600.

Will the latency stay the same / can I get some better latency out of the ram? Could I get it to 3600mhz at cl14?

You can probably get 3600 CL16 with the Crucial stuff.

You can get RGB ram for under £100 if you want something a bit more flash looking. No idea how good/bad they will overclock though.
