Hi, I was wondering if anyone had comments and any real world benefits regarding content creation, gaming, and streaming, in regards to how the 3400G, 3600, 3700X, and the 3900X perform in those tasks. I was using a 7700 before but the cpu or mobo went back(don't have a spare cpu or mobo to test with.) I will be trying to make a machine to basically be a catch all for streaming, gaming and content creation(ranging from krita creations similar to photoshop to video editing.) and I don't want to make a mistake like I did before when I built my Intel build(7700, 16Gb DDR4 2133, 512GB NVME SSD, 3 1TB 7200 rpm HDDS, 1050ti because they were affordable, and a 500W PSU) the system will have at minimum 16GB DDR4 2666 ram, carrying over the SSD, RX 5700 XT Sapphire pulse, Minimum storage of 3TB on HDD, and a 650W PSU. I am trying to figure out what would be the best option for the price for what I have described here along with the hardware I have chosen.

Edit: I am now heavily leaning towards 3700X because of the Higher multicore performance but I am not sure if it is cost effective over a 3600 or 3600x.

A Ryzen 9 is probably overkill for your use case. R5 3600 is the best value but if you have the budget you should go for the 3700x.

Also, please don't use 2666mhz ram, spend a little extra and get 3200mhz.
