Hello everyone!

first of all, I want to apologize for my English it is not my native language.
while ago a friend of mine built me my first pc and now I'm thinking of an upgrade for my rig. Unfortunately, I don't know much about custom pc building. That's why I wanted to ask you for some help regarding what should I change or keep.

the specs are the followings:

for some reason, I did not find the graphics card and the case but it's Radeon r9 270 of 2g and a Riotoro full Tower

what I want to achieve with this upgrading is the following:

-Using photoshop and Paint tool SAI ( i love to draw, not good at it tho)
- I would like to play triple A games on medium settings (nothing fancy)
- i would like to change the CPU ( I heard ryzen it's pretty good right now)
- availability for further upgrades

Right now I have only one screen (a new Tv that I stole from my mom) but I wish to buy one more in the future

Also, I would like to spend  around 570US dolars (400.000CLP) And I from Chile (Latin America)

Finally Thanks in advance to anyone who responds this.

Hope you are having a wondefull day.

Sadly the things in my region are way more expensive the i7-9700k it's at 434 (I feel scam :c) and since I would be changing the motherboard should I change for ryzen  Considering further upgrades?

The ryzen 5 1600 it is around $250 I found the ryzen 5 3600 around the same price

Thanks for your answer

A 3600 would be an awesome way to go. You will need the new MOBO, and also you'll need some 3200mhz DDR4 RAM.

Which MOBO do you recommend ?

That will depend on what is available near you.

The X570 boards are PCIe 4.0 ready, but pretty pricey for a budget P.C.

Here is a list of boards that allow a BIOS flash without popping an older Ryzen chip in:

https://premiumbuilds.com/motherboards/list-of-motherboards-with-usb-bios-flashback/

Of that list, I would say the most affordable flash ready board is the MSI B450 A-Pro.

The B450M Mortar or Bazooka Plus are pretty affordable where they are available. They are kinda rare in the U.S.

If I had my pick of the litter, I would grab an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC.

(The ASUS boards listed are all pretty high quality, but also expensive to the point you might as well grab an X570.)

If you want the PCIe 4.0, I'd look at the TUF Gaming Plus
