First off I want to list the specs of my PC:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5 2550k Sandy Bridge 1155 LGA socket
  • MOBO: ASUS P877-V LX
  • RAM: Corsair DDR3 16gb (2x8gb) 1866
  • GPU: MSI Gaming X GeFroce GTX 1060 6gb

The keyboard and mouse are a Razer Blackwidow Chroma and a Corsair Glaive RGB

So the Issue I am having and have had for a while is that when I put my computer to sleep I cant get it to wake up. When I move or click my mouse the lights just flicker on the mouse, when I click the keyboard it lights back up but the screen stays off. I've messed with the power settings, I've made sure my mouse and keyboard are allowed to wake the PC as well. I also have an issue with my PC not fully shutting down, I'm not sure if they are all correlated issues or not. If anyone has had similar issues and knows what to do, your help would be greatly appreciated.

I've owned 4 different PCs with countless numbers of windows installs and NEVER have had sleep work correctly.  both my laptop and desktop now have the same issue, I would just disable sleep (you can configure it to turn off the display over a set amount of time if you want that).  My mother's laptop STILL goes to sleep even with every options for it we can find disabled...

why no dark mode?
