RTX 2060 refusing to boost up in League of Legends

Gealach

Never goes above 900MHz specifically in League of Legends. This leads to FPS in the low 100's despite having a 144Hz monitor. No other game has this issue, from Minecraft to R6. It simply refuses to give me anything close to playable framerates.

I'm gonna switch to AMD on my next build since I had similar issues on my 1070 a few years ago. GPUboost 3.0 is absolutely dreadful.

Have you tried adding the game to the Nvidia Control Panel and setting the Power Management to Maximum Performance?

Did as you suggested as well as turned up all settings to above maximum. Clocks wont go above 900 still, but FPS started much higher and didnt dip below 140. Overall a win but less than ideal :/

Check your CPU usage when playing. If it's spiking up above 90% you could be looking at a CPU bottleneck. If not, maybe the game's engine is just not optimised to fully utilise your hardware. Either way, as long as it doesn't dip below 140fps as you've said, I guess you're fine haha
