iGPU problems

So basically since my dGpu died, I'm stuck with my iGpu which is the intel hd 4400 which isnt even that bad considering it's kinda old and integrated. 
But I've encountered an issue with it.
The games run terrible, like league gets barely 30fps on 720p all low, performance mode set in both windows and drivers.
In some games it's even worse than my t5500 and gma 945 laptop.
Reinstalled drivers, put new drivers, modded drivers, messed with it in bios changing vram, setting default display device.
Same, I tried it with DDU, same.
Cpu isn't throttling, neither is the iGPU.
Windows is like 2 weeks old, maybe even less.

Seems about inline with my performance expectations tbh.

Is the gpu usage 100% while in game?

This iGPI wil give problems just make sure you install all the drivers from their site and what not.

If the gpu usage is 100% then that means you can't really get more performance out of it.

You can try looking at the igpu clockspeed, but afaik on intel those aren't overclockable.

It is going to the maximum clock speed, but the thread isn't me  having expectable low performance, the performance i get is WAY below what others do.

RAM. Ram makes a huge difference for iGPUs. Also cooling.

Might be, since It's only a single stick of 1600mhz ddr3 ram

As said above, because IGPUs dont have their own vram they use the system ram. In this case faster ram = more fps

But only if that board/cpu can use faster RAM. Haswell's only chipset that can use RAM faster than 1600 is Z87 I believe. H87 and lower are limited to 1600 or even 1333. Possibly you could overclock the iGPU with Intel XTU, I've done so with a desktop Haswell before.

Oh. That is single channel. If you had dual channel you would have much faster, atleast that is the case with ryzen igpus.
