New Pc build

Hi Im from the UK and im looking to upgrade my pc I'm running a AMD fx8320 with a MSI GTX 1660 GPU with 16gb DDR3 ram. I have about £1200 to spend on a upgrade what would you recommend I'm using ebuyer as a source for my parts and I'm wanting a Ryzen with a RTX1070 I'm also looking at using a M.2 type SSD as my boot option. Any advice would be great thanks.

thanks for the replys @LukeSavenije and @Draconid but any reason for the Ryzen 5 and not the Ryzen 7 2700x? as thats the cpu i was thinking off?

because the 3000 series have a higher ipc, and clock a bit better. it does have it's child problems here and there, but is for the price pretty nice

The ryzen 5 will probably cost you a bit less and get a bit more performance in gaming, while worse in heavily multi treaded workloads. Not to mention that it runs a lot cooler

because this one was half the price of the tomahawk max, but it's a good option as well

 

it's just that a 3600 doesn't need much current

get a cheaper NVME SSD and use the money for an X570-P, though for a 3600 it's unnecessary.
