New build about a week old

i have this problem where all the usb devices (keyboard mouse even internal like my Corsair commander pro) suddenly just disconnect and reconnect sometimes. All my fans turn off and back on. Any thoughts?

thanks

That happens quite often with my mouse on my laptop. I think it's a case of cheap usb ports on the case/chassis

That really should not happen tho...

This is internal usb’s aswell.

b450 f asus board

What PSU? as the PSU delivers the 5Volts needed for USB to work. Maybe that has an issue?

I wouldn’t expect a rmx series psu to have a problem like that but how do I check if thst is the case? Do I just monitor +5v voltages for a while?

Haven’t tried nothing to remedy.

specd are available on my profile.

what is ‘and so on’?

Well then that would be an easy copy and paste.
Since you the one asking for help, make it as easy on the helper as you can, it will give better results. ;)
(As i dont really take the time to check anyone's profile imassuming other dont either. Just fyi.)

And so on, with that i meant elaborate on your problem. Does it also do it when you have no external USB connected and so on.

Yeah thats indeed not one to easily break. And yes i would monitor the voltages trough something like HWinfo or similar. But thats only to exclude the PSU as a culprit.

i can’t test with no usb’s Plugged in because I’m not prepared to sit in front of my computer with no keyboard or mouse just looking at it for a few days.
