My gf's "new" computer with a Dlink dwa 582 keeps getting shut out form the web on google chrome and other browsers, somethings work when browsers dot like steam and discord but i dont know what else to do to fix it.

I have tried

-ipconfig /flushdns

-ipconfig /renew

-hardware reset router which now seems to have worked or at least it hasnt failed for atleas 10 min now which is longer than the 20 sec max we had earlier

-restart pc

Hardwired in via ethernet to bypass the WiFi PCIe card. If Internet works well, boom, it's the PCIe card. If not, it's software, so you can either play "why is this Windows installation doing weird things" for weeks on end, or pave n nuke Windows and start over with a fresh installation. Also, be sure to power cycle and/or factory reset your modem and/or router, as they too can cause issues with just one single device.
