Hello guys, my brother and I have had a home media server for around a year and we are planning on upgrading it a bit, but because he is going to move to the UK and still want to use and see some homemade videos we have there we are goign to try to stream video with it using media tomb, which we have tryed using at home but it crashes and we think it is because of the low current spces on the server and not a software problem, so I ask you guys if you know if this will be enough for video streaming to max 3 clients but that would be the absolute max;

Current specs:

CPU:Intel atom 1.6ghz

MBO: Unknown

RAM: 1gb. ddr2 (we guess)

PSU: 200 watt unbranded

HDD: WD RED 3TB

Upgraded specs:

CPU: A4 4000 3.4 ghz

MOBO: still pending but a micro-atx FM2 (obviuosly)

RAM: 4 or 8 gb. ddr3 1333mhz

PSU: SAME

HDD: SAME

Yeah we lso kind of know the limit will be the internet but do you think this would be enough for the streaming?

to be honest im not that known with streaming but i do know that you need a good internet connection but for the hardware part ask @looney
