Mini ITX build:
MOBO MSI:B450I GAMING PLUS AC
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700     8 core 3.2Ghz   65 W + GPU: NVIDIA Quadro P400 or
         Ryzen 5 3500G 4 core  3.7GHz  65 W - AMD Radeon RX Vega11

RAM: 16 Gb 3200 Mhz

Drive: M.2 NVMe SSD 1 Tb

Storage: M.2 SSD 1-2 Tb

PSU: 300-400 W

I am NOT a gamer nor am I a CAD/CAM type user. I am a futures trader who uses C## software to process real time futures, stock and options data.

Question: Will the Radeon RX handle the same as the Quadro P400. Clearly being able to use the APU vs CPU+GPU regarding mini-itx case space, power draw, and reducing costs and still get what I need for processing this type of data, are my concerns. Any feedback you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Get a 1600/2600 and a better Quadro if you need professional drivers/features or a GeForce cars if you don't

5x5, so the 2nd gen R7 is over kill, and a 1st or 2nd gen R5 is sufficient? Not sure what you consider a "better" A quadro? the 400 is a low profile designed for a mini-itx  case like the  SilverStone SST-NT06-PRO-V2 (adds AM4 supports) or *Velka 3 mini ITX case 3.7 - 4.0 L volume.

appreciate your feedback.

Well, with good ECC RAM in the system, (and a motherboard that actually supports it, yours doesn't) the Vega 11 will beat the P400.

Most likely the Ryzen 3400G setup will cover your needs quite well.

If you have decently high-end RAM, the Vega 11 will win in every way except memory bandwidth. It will completely outperform the Pro despite that, especially if you give it a slight overclock. (look online for a good overclocking guide, there are plenty out there, and you can get 10-15% improvement from it if you use an aftermarket cooler to manage the thermals)
