Interesting Problem with my 4th core

Hi, I have been dealing an interesting problem for couple months. At the beginning I had weird problems in games. For example, Apex crashes randomly, Textures and lights was blinking on Rainbow six siege and character always falling down in in Division 2. Also some apps was impossible to use such as origin, spotify etc. So I found the problem. It was all about 4th core of my i7 5820K. If I disable the 4th core all problems getting solved. But It also affect the multi core performance ofcourse. So what can I do? Is there anyone has similar problem with cpu? Is it possible to brooking a single cpu core?

Have you overclocked your cpu? or enabled turbo boost?

Yes, turbo boost always enabled and sometimes I activate the overclock profile in bios. It increases the clock to 4.2 Ghz. (It was 4.4 before but not stable) But the problem always there if it is overclocked or not.

all ill say is i had alllllot of bad issues with this spasific cpu!

was my first ever real cpu wan i was 16 or so...

and off the start the first 1 i got had half dead memory controller so only half of my ram slots worked. had it replaced and that 1 had 2 cores more or less dead....after that i just said fuck it and got a diffrent cpu...dont remember what it was. but...i donnu maybe i just wasent lucky...but those cpu's (the i7 5820k i mean) are shit in my book.

You might want to overclock manually with higher voltages than turbo boost.
