I am going to be buying a 780ti soon and I like the ACX cooler from EVGA but I have heard that they have a lot of issues with rattling fan noise. I am a silence freak so I just wanted to get some opinions from those who have used this cooler.

Thanks! :)

Never really herd of this issue, try looking at newegg and other people's reviews on this or even better, anyone that posts on this thread :D

I have a 780 with the ACX cooler and I absolutely love it.

The only time it has coil whine is when I am running a very demanding benchmark on it (unigine heaven/valley).

During regular gameplay it makes no noise whatsoever  :)

The ACX cooler is slightly louder than the DirectCU II and the Windforce. It does cool better than boththe DirectCU II and the Windforce, and therefore allows the gpu more performance than other coolers.

I can only hear my ACX when it's at more than 75%(though I have a silence optimized case) but I've never heard any rattling or coil whine.

I have the 760 ACX in an SG05. Doesn't rattle for me. Only audible above around 70% fan speeds and that's just the sound of airflow :D

ACX cools amazing. Didn't expect it to cool better then the previous DCU2 and MSI Gaming 760's I've tried. Really impressed. A recommend from me
