25 minutes ago, R.O.C.I said:

My kraken 7.1 v2 is dying (static noise from time to time) and i want a good headset with surround sound that is comfy and not so expensive (around 100 usd)

Does anyone have a recommendation? I thought to buy the hyperx cloud 2 or their revolver s.

Arctis 7 wireless has been great, never had an issue with the battery life. You can get them for $100 open box on amazon, there's a few options.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Just answered another post and I'll say the same thing, I cannot recommend the arctic line up enough. They're terrific headphones from the get go, the soft headband means you can sit with the headset on for hours and not have any issues. I don't know about anyone else but personally when I have normal headphones on for too long they start to hurt the top of my head where as I can sit at my PC from morning to night and not have to take my headset off at all. They have a lot of other features but they're all subjective for each and every user but they're are pretty handy

I'd say the KSC75 is worth a try.

It looks bad but is comfortable and sounds great.

Positional audio is great and for music it's awesome.

For 15-17$ it's worth a look.

It doesn't have a mic but something like a 30$ fifine is way better than a headset mic anyway.

The modding community is also great.

Doing a detach mod is worth it imo.
