Replacing my aio

hey

i currently have a corsair aio 120mm (i don't remember the name) and i replacing it with the h100i also from corsair.

So my question is, can i keep the mobo backplate the came with my old aio or do i need to disassemble my pc and install the new one?

I have a z270e mobo and currently i am using the h55 aio and i want to replace it with the h100i

You're going to to want to use all the hardware that comes with the new H100i unit. There are differences in the mounting height between all the different cooler models, and could very likely see abnormal CPU temps, or damage the processor during installation. Let me know if you have additional questions.
