Can't boot to windows from SSD on new motherboard?

I recently built a new tower, got it all set up in BIOS, set my SSD at the top of my boot manager, however after extensive attempts at booting, it simply says "Reboot and select proper Boot device"

Any idea what I should do?

Specs:

-AMD Ryzen 5 2600

-MSI B450M Pro

-GTX 1050 ti

- HyperX 8GB 2400Mhz

-Kingston 120Gb SSD

-1TB HDD

So, have you installed windows or other OS on the SSD? if not, then that's why it's not booting... to install an OS you need to boot to the installation device, these days it's USB flash drive most likely.

Windows is on the SSD I'm attempting to boot to. I'd been using it barely an hour beforehand
