Alternative to Adobe Media Encoder

I'm just dabbling my feet in the world of video so I use the free version of resolve. Recently, I've learnt of intermediate codecs. However, I haven't found a way to transcode to ProRes, CineForm or DNxHD/HR without spending money on Apple Compressor or Adobe Meda Encoder. I've no idea how to use FFMPEG and I don't think it is going to be easy learning C to use CineForm's open source codec... Help.
