Just wondering if anyone knows if an led strip from the h500i will work if i dont use the smart cam and just plug directly into my Mobo.

I would like to buy RGB fans with my h500i and was wondering, if i use the led port on the smart cam for the fans and take out the Rgb strips and putting them into my Mobo. (A b450 tomahawk) would that work?
